Kimchee And A Precious Newborn Makes For A Happy Photographer

I walked down a hallway approaching the door of the condo where this newborn photoshoot was to take place and my senses were assaulted. Pleasantly so. The door opened and I was slapped in the face by delicious odors emanating from the kitchen where my model’s (a precious newborn) Korean grandmother had been busy cooking up loads of silly delicious Korean fare. As luck would have it, my clients are also friends of mine. They offered that I sit down and have lunch with them. Normally I don’t eat on the job however my momma din’t raise no dummy. I jumped at the chance to partake in some short ribs, kimchee and other things that were absolutely delicious but don’t even ask me what I ate. Fast forward to baby Samuel. Little guy was quite awake during our time together. Who could blame him. He was probably thinking, “When the heck will I be old enough to eat what I’m smelling!” Moral of the story is, a well fed photographer is a happy photographer.
